Fans of Swedish crime fiction queen Camilla Läckberg will recognise Vetteberget and the giant split in the rock, known locally as Kungsklyftan, from her best-selling books. This scar on the rock face appears in many of her books and film adaptations of them.
If you look out from Vetteberget you’ll get the same view of the Fjällbacka archipelago that legendary Hollywood actress Ingrid Bergman once did. She loved visiting Fjällbacka on her way to and from her island home-from-home on Dannholmen island. The world famous bust of her looking out to the archipelago sits in Ingrid Bergman square.
