Hotels | Fjällbacka village, on the Bohuslän coast, clusters brightly and beautifully around its harbour where the boats set sail for the Fjällbacka archipelago. Vetteberget rock towers above the village, offering fantastic views of the nearby islands.
Fans of Swedish crime fiction queen Camilla Läckberg will recognise Vetteberget and the giant split in the rock, known locally as Kungsklyftan, from her best-selling books. This scar on the rock face appears in many of her books and film adaptations of them.
If you look out from Vetteberget you’ll get the same view of the Fjällbacka archipelago that legendary Hollywood actress Ingrid Bergman once did. She loved visiting Fjällbacka on her way to and from her island home-from-home on Dannholmen island. The world famous bust of her looking out to the archipelago sits in Ingrid Bergman square.
Bryggan sits quayside at Fjällbacka harbour. With Vetteberget Rock forming the backdrop and panoramic views of the Fjällbacka archipelago from our deck, our setting is as beautiful as it is dramatic.
We offer a top-quality stay with light ‘Newport-style’ room interiors and first-class eating at Restaurang Matilda and Everts Tapasbar.
